24. Aaron Parker (1689–1755), son of Moses Parker and Abigail Hildreth
Aaron Parker was born on 9 April 1689 in Chelmsford. [1] He died on 19 December 1755, age 86, in Westford. [2]
25. Abigail Adams (b. 1697), daughter of Pelatiah Adams
Abigail Adams was born on 7 June 1697 in Chelmsford. [1, 13]
Abigail Adams was admitted to communion on 7 April 1723 in the church in Westford. [3]
Aaron was chosen to be a constable at the first town meeting in Westford on 2 March 1729/3. [4, 22]
Children of Aaron Parker and Abigail Adams: [1][2][3]
i. Aaron Parker was born on 19 August 1713 in Chelmsford. He married first Mary Barrett of Chelmsford by an intention dated 6 December 1735 in Westford. Mary was born about 1716. She died on 20 February 1737, age 21, in Westford. He married second Dorothy Fletcher on 20 April 1338 in Westford.
Aaron was admitted to communion on 20 March 1737 in the church at Westford. Dorothy owned the covenant at the church in Westford on 13 May 1739. Dorothy was admitted to communion there on 9 December 1739. On 11 March 1745 the church met to discuss Aaron's and Dorthy's absences from church; they had been meeting at Jonathan Underwood's house to hear a lay exhorter. On 16 May 1746 Araon, Jr. said that he belied that he should separate from the sacraments.
ii. Samuel Parker was born on 1 January 1716 in Chelmsford.He died on 7 August 1795 in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. [5] He married first Sarah Fletcher on 22 January 1739 in Westford. She died on 12 October 1746 in Westford. He married second Mary Robbins on 12 May 1748 in Westford. Mary was the daughter of John Proctor of Westfield and the widow of Jonathan Robbins. [5] She died on 22 November 1757 in Westford. He married third the widow of Ephraim Fletcher. [6]
Samuel and Sarah, his wife, owned the covenant at the church in Westford. Sarah was admitted to communion on 9 December 1739 in the church in Westford.
iii. Lieutenat Moses Parker was born on 16 May 1718 in Chelmsford. He died on 13 July 1797. He married Bridget Cummings
iv. Abigail Parker was born on 17 October 1720 in Chelmsford. She married John Senter of Londonderry on 11 March 1742 in Westford.
Abigail was admitted to communion on 27 November 1737 in the church at Westford.
v. Mary Parker was born on 20 October 1723 in Chelmsford. She married Oliver Proctor of Chelmsford on 10 April 1744 in Westford.
vi. Lucy Parker was born on 11 January 1725/6 inChelmsford. She married Stephen Corey of Littleton on 6 June 1744 in Westford.
vii. Elizabeth Parker was born on 18 July 1728 in Chelmsford. She was baptized on 14 July 1728[!] in Chelmsford or Westford. She married Gershom Proctor, Jr. of Chelmsford on 22 July 1746 in Westford.
viii. Isaac Parker was born on 20 May 1731 in Westford. He was baptized on 6 June 1731 in Westford.
ix. Joseph Parker was born on 2 January 1734/5 in Westford. He was baptised on 5 January 1735 in Westford. He married Susannah Fletcher (maybe) on 18 July 1763 in Westford.
x. Esther Parker was born on 4 July 1738 in Westford. She was baptized on 9 July 1738 in Westford.
